General Rules

  1. Entry Fee: Cattle - $25, Lambs - $12

  2. Health Papers Required - OUT OF STATE LIVESTOCK MUST HAVE YOUR STATE STAMP.

  3. Committee reserves the right to evaluate any breed steer and any breed lamb for breed discrepancy.

  4. Champion & Res. monies to be paid during final drive.

  5. No powders allowed. (White or Black)

  6. Show committee decisions are final.

  7. Not responsible for accidents.

  8. Any protest must be accompanied with $100 cash - Non-Refundable

Cattle Rules

  1. Cattle to be entered & weighed by 8:30 A.M. June 22

  2. Steers will show by weight and breed

  3. Heifers will show by age. Minimum 3 per class.

  4. Commercial heifers will show by weight

  1. Cattle breeds: Angus, Hereford, Shorthorn, Simmental, Chianina, Crossbred, Limousin, Maine-Anjou, all other purebreds.
  2. Steers must have at least 5 head for a breed to be offered.
  3. All Purebred Heifers and all Other Breed Heifers must have registration papers.
  4. Angus steers must have their heads clipped before weighing in.
  5. No false or reattached hair on any cattle.

Lamb Rules

  1. Lambs to be stalled by 11:00 A.M., June 23.

  2. Lambs will show by weight and breeds (Dorset, Hampshire, Suffolk, All other pruebreds, Crossbreds)

  3. Must be 10 lambs for breed to be offered or combined with all other purebreds. (NEW)

  4. Market ewes will be eligible to show.

  5. All Market Lambs to be slick sheared within 5 days of entering fairgrounds (NEW)
